Our countdown timers have been upgraded to operate in three modes: Self Learning Mode, Trigger Mode, and Adaptative Mode, covering a wide range of applications in advanced traffic systems.
Self Learning Mode: Designed for fixed-cycle traffic lights. In this mode, the timer learns the traffic light cycle after observing two consecutive cycles and starts displaying the remaining time. The best part? If the cycle changes, the timer automatically adjusts after completing a new learning process of two cycles. This mode is suitable for traditional intersections with fixed and scheduled plans.
Trigger Mode: Designed for systems with variable cycles due to some call or request of an additional phase. Here, the traffic controller sends a trigger signal when a phase is about to end. The timer, with a quick response time of less than 1 second, displays the remaining seconds of the active phase, ensuring synchronization at all times. Triggering is the right choice for vehicle-actuated intersections and pedestrian request modes.
Adaptative Mode: This is the top working mode for its systems. Made in compatibility with the GA/T508-2014 protocol and using a reliable industrial hardware interface as RS – 485, this mode allows the timer to receive real-time information from the traffic controller. The transparent and clear protocol ensures that our timers can easily integrate with traffic controllers from different brands, as long as they support this interface. This method ensures all countdown timers start almost immediately, with no need to finish a full cycle of learning. The controller always keeps updating the remaining time, making the countdown timer a step toward seamless interoperability!
