Wired aluminum LED road studs were installed by MOBPRO Electronics and Technology in Porto and other cities in Portugal. The road studs are embedded into the road at the stop bars in front of the pedestrian crossing to warn approaching vehicles in order to enhance pedestrian safety.
Hardwired road studs are flashing 24 hours and enhance pedestrian safety at the crosswalks in city Porto.
White color LED optics to provide high visibility and at the same low power consumption. That enables pedestrian crossing solution to be completely solar-powered which means no running costs for municipalities.
